The company FOODCONS fruit and vegetable equipment was found in 2004 by Karsten Schmitz and Lars Möhlenbrock in Viersen/ Northrhine-Westfalia.
In 1987, Mr. Schmitz and Mr. Möhlenbrock started working together when they began their apprenticeship as industrial mechanics. In the 90s, the german area “Mittlerer Niederrhein” was strongly influenced by mechanical engineering in textile industry.
At first, the core business of FOODCONS was distribution of vegetable processing equipment of well-known manufacturers like Sormac and Eillert, both Dutch producers, in Germany and Austria. In 2004, Sormac has, for instance, become the world’s leading manufacturer of vegetable processing machinery.
In 2008, FOODCONS took over the company Federolf from Baden-Wuerttemberg, a producer of slice and wedge cutters for fruits and vegetables, and found its own machine production and their worldwide distribution.
The geographic region, FOODCONS fruit and vegetable equipment is located in, has always had a very good reputation for machine engineering and we want to meet this challenge. That is, why during the development stage, we especially focus on quality, functionality, and efficiency.
Traditional, solid mechanical engineering characterized by innovative technology and supported by perfect customer service – This is exactly, what FOODCONS stands for!
We are looking forward to an excellent cooperation with you.
